Native Instruments/Traktor just announced their new incredibly hyped product: Traktor Kontrol S4 (which also includes the new super awesome software Traktor Pro S4). This product has so much hype that I feel okay referring to myself in the 3rd person above. Heck, I’m just trying to be like Lebron James.
Oh, by the way, I dropped 4 new routines for the release of this product, all of which can be seen here:

This thing looks awsome but I have a question which I think your opinion could weigh well with since you have used the equipment before. would this be useable in a club environment switching from one dj to the next and would the fader be sutible for scratching or should i just buy a seperate audio card and mixer this all in one package seems great but this is specificly asked toward trying to learn scratching.
Hey Jim,
This would be very easy to use in a club environment, especially switching from one DJ to the next since a soundcard is built in. No need for a separate audio card. The fader here is good for scratching, but if you really want to learn scratching, the jog wheels are not ideal for this. I recommend turntables and timecode if you want to stay digital, but the best way to learn scratching is with vinyl.
Hey man,
thanks for the nice demo of the unit! Your performance rocked the NI & the DJ TechTools forums heavily this week.
There is huge attention to the S4 and me and many other people are hoping that you will drop some more info than the already present on the NI site.
Cheers and thanks a lot!

but tell me what the name of that awesome dub track you were doing a demo of on the video with the Mike Tyson loops. I stopped and went back like 20 times and jammed cause it was that good. haha
