I’m so excited for this! Announcing MOSTLY ROBOT: Native Instruments’ new super band featuring myself, Jamie Lidell, Tim Exile, Jeremy Ellis, and Mr. Jimmy, with visuals by Pfadfinderei. We are making our debut at Sonar Barcelona 2012.
“Mostly Robot is a real band, made up of exceptional artists: Jamie Lidell, Tim Exile, Jeremy Ellis, Mr Jimmy and DJ Shiftee. Truly ‘live’, each musician plays independently of each other – instruments are synced only by the human element, with no MIDI clock or prepared grid obstructing their creativity.

We’ve got my own music, music from friends, xxxclusives (cue Funkmaster Flex Bomp Drop), set staples, dubstep, 4×4, hip hop, and grime (if you can’t tell from the track list, I’ve become grime-obsessed), all put together with no regard for human decency. I do horrible things to these songs. Horrible, horrible things.”
