Last Week’s Set – Noise 212

I dropped a set for the Noise 212 ustream last week.  It featured lots of dubsteppy/drumsteppy/drumandbasssteppy goodness, my own tunes, bodacious mic stylings, some scratches, and many awkward dance moves.  Oh the memories!  Relive the past below (tracklist after the vid).

Noise 212 Radio – Tonight!

I’m dropping a set on Noise 212 Radio tonight, unless of course, you are reading this on a date besides August 29th, 2010.  In this case, I am not actually spinning tonight, but rather in the past.  Things were really different back then.

For those of you currently in the present, I’ll be playing at about 11:50, but do tune in to check the other Noise 212/Dubspot fam dropping heat.  What will I be playing?  I don’t even know myself, and I know myself really well.

Live ustream + chatroom = delightful internet experience.  Come fight with our haters.

Last Night’s Set – Noise212

Here’s my set from last night’s Noise212 radio extravaganza:

I had fun for a few reasons:

  1. I’m a fun guy.
  2. Fun guys have fun, that’s what makes them fun.
  3. I’m not really a fun guy, but I had fun anyway.
  4. I got to play with 2 of my most promising students at Dubspot: DJ Jago (14 years old) and DJ Ripe (15 years old).  The big homie JP Solis also dropped a dope, active, and creative set.
  5. I dropped an all vinyl set for the first time in 5 years.  It’s a whole different ballgame without the controllers and the screen, and almost a different skill set.  More straight blends and random cuts.  I still prefer spinning on digital bc of the live power to create and rearrange, but it was good to take it back to the essence.
  6. Haters!  The chatroom had at least 1 hater, which means we are doing a good job!  If people are tuning in just to talk ish about you, then you’re doing something right.
