This is a project I’m incredibly excited about.  For those who don’t know her, Carrie Wilds is an incredibly gifted and moving singer.  She’s appeared on songs from people like Crookers and Drop The Lime.  Now it’s time for her to shine solo!

On June 19th, Mishka Records will release a full Carrie Wilds album/mixtape with originals and covers over beats curated by yours truly (“Executive Producer – Shiftee”).  The end result is nothing short of fantastic.  Peep the first leak below, which features a guest spot from Cody B. Ware and S-X on the buttons.  Damn!

Mishka Ranks My “Keep Watch” Mix #1

The Mishka Keep Watch mix series is one of the most prestigious and forward thinking out there.  It has featured names like Skream, Major Lazer, Rusko, Buraka Som Sistema, 12th Planet, and more.  Needless to say, I was thrilled to get the nod back in January of 2011 for Vol. XXIII.

Well, my excitement has gone up 10 notches, as they have just ranked my mix the most memorable of the whole freaking series!  #1, bwoy!  Read the article here and peep the mix below.
